So Many Answers was founded by Sandy Oswald, a professional counsellor, psychotherapist, international motivational speaker, author, and parenting specialist whose sincere and transparent approach is captivating. Through Sandy’s steadfast foundation, she is able to impact those around her, not only limited through counselling and teaching, but as a natural expression of herself. Her inventive and relatable stories capture your attention immediately, enabling the listener to absorb and process life altering principles.
Sandy’s Story
Sandy would agree that her journey to the other side of 50, hasn’t been without challenges but it has been an exciting adventure.
The result is a passionate woman, wife, mother, grandmother, with the desire to empower her successors. These skills have enabled her to become an invaluable life coach /counsellor and whether it be through personal interaction, through her published resources or motivational seminars she will inspire you to aim for the stars.
For a period of 8 years, Sandy and her husband worked with to 400+ children weekly in the community of country Australia, with a message of love and hope, this armed her with tools and abilities to become a Parenting Specialist, equipping caregivers with practical tools to emerge victorious in parenting wars. You too can have a family that you can enjoy, that brings you delight each day. As well Sandy has worked for over 25 years in the people helping industry and currently fulfilling a role at Citipointe Church in the Community Care as well as running a private successful counselling service.
Sandy married the love of her life and best friend Simon and lives with him in sunny Queensland, Australia.
Tell us about yourself Sandy!
Some days I feel like the youngest ‘Nanny’ in the world as I juggle full time work, study, and writing projects - I consistently have a book project on the go, all the while I renovate homes (with my husband who does all the real work – I just have the ideas and decorate). We have ten grandchildren from three children, and they are all absolutely the centre of my world.
I feel I’m always evolving, as life experiences morph me into an improved version of myself. What never changes though, is my deep desire to love and help people, which ironically enough (or rather by God’s design), is the meaning of my name. Sandy - “Helper of Mankind”. I love to see people live the best version of themselves – full of favour and goodness.
I love to equip people with the invaluable tools of success that I have learnt in my life’s journey. Since I arrived early at all the milestones of life I feel that has been the catalyst that enables me to easily relate to most age groups, and demographics. I also participate in regular supervision, professional and personal developmental courses to enrich my knowledge and skill base.
I’m a bit of a softy and can cry like a baby, however, mistreat my tribe and you’ll hear me roar! My friends describe me as funny, but I just think I’m very real with no hidden agendas.
I love to surround myself with family and friends especially when I get to cook up a storm – food, friends and family make me one happy lady.
