For a period of 8 years, Sandy and her husband worked with to 400+ children weekly in the community of country Australia, with a message of love and hope, this armed her with tools and abilities to become a Parenting Specialist, equipping caregivers with practical tools to emerge victorious in parenting wars. Some days I feel like the youngest ‘Nanny’ in the world as I juggle full time work, study, and writing projects - I consistently have a book project on the go, all the while I renovate homes (with my husband who does all the real work – I just have the ideas and decorate). We have ten grandchildren from three children, and they are all absolutely the centre of my world. I feel I’m always evolving, as life experiences morph me into an improved version of myself. What never changes though, is my deep desire to love and help people, which ironically enough (or rather by God’s design), is the meaning of my name. Sandy - “Helper of Mankind”.
